2022/2023 League Information

And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for!!
It’s that time of year again to register for curling with our club for the 2022/2023 season!!
Registration will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm at the Lloyd Watson Community Centre in Wilberforce.
Below, you will see information outlining the details of this year’s leagues and bonspiels and our registration form. Please print (click on the image), complete and bring the form along with your payment on September 28th. The club will also be hosting an open house on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 1pm until 3pm and 6pm until 8pm. Come on out and and give curling a try if you haven’t. The club will be hosting “Learn to Curl” workshops as well so stay tuned for those dates!
Should you be unable to register in person on September 28th, we ask that you print and complete your registration form and have a designate attend registration night on your behalf with your payment. Should you wish to submit your registration and payment to the club online, send your completed form to wilberforcecurling@gmail.com on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Payment must be received before you play. Acceptable forms of payment in person on September 28th are cash or cheque payable to Wilberforce Curling Club. E-transfers may be sent to wilberforcecurling@gmail.com
Forms received electronically will not be processed until the evening of registration to allow the club to equitably manage forms received before the night of September 28th.

PLEASE NOTE: For the 2022/2023 season, the club will continue to comply with Municipal and Provincial COVID guidelines. As such, no proof of vaccination will be required for registration at this time.

Members of the Wilberforce Curling Club in good standing may sign up for any league at the beginning of the season, and there are no limits to how many leagues a member may curl in.

The Wilberforce Curling Club provide brooms. Curlers must wear appropriate shoes for curling that are clean and have adequate traction on the ice (running shoes are acceptable). The Wilberforce Curling Club’s ice area is not heated, so we recommend members dress accordingly (layers are best).

During league nights, the bar is staffed and both refreshments and snacks are available for sale throughout the evening.  All bar staff possess SmartServe certification.

Curlers of all skill levels welcome!

Fees:

Curling rate – $125 per fall or winter season.   $250 for both fall and winter seasons. Fall season starts October 24, 2022. Winter season starts January 16, 2023.

Leagues will be reviewed dependant upon curler registrations.

Payment must be made at registration. You will not be permitted to participate in play if payment has not been received.
